CF Dominicana Cigars offering free custom cigar bands, launches new wholesale division

CF Dominicana Cigars, a company known for its Cigar Catering , has officially announced its introduction to retail tobacco stores with a new wholesale division.

The company is offering free custom cigar bands, complete with the customers' initials, on every cigar purchased from participating retailers. They will also hold cigar rolling demonstrations, promoting Cigar Catering, in participating stores.

Cigar Catering is a registered servicemark owned by CigarFlavors.com, Inc. d.b.a. CF Dominicana Cigars.

The company aims to further satisfy its customers -- and gain new ones -- by making its products more available to the consumer.

"We hear from our customers when they are getting married, when they have their first baby and when it's their anniversary; we've made our cigars part of our customers' lives," Dennis Briganti, president of CF Dominicana Cigars, and a native Islander, said.

The company is confident that this personal aspect will carry over to retailers, as they expect to create a partnership with them by providing these initial services at no cost to the stores. According to CF Dominicana, no other brand has ever brought in live demonstrations without burdening a store owner with sales quotas.

In order to buy cigars with the custom cigar bands, a customer must give their initials to the retailer, who then contacts CF Dominicana. The designers then create the bands, which are given to the cigar rollers, and ship everything to the store for the customer to pick up.

"This process creates a second trip for the customer to the retail store, which is another opportunity for the store owner to sell peripheral products like cutters and lighters," Briganti said.
