Introduction

If you are looking for a special cigar for that special occasion, then it may be time to indulge in a custom cigar, made just for you. CF Dominicana not only specializes in creating custom cigars, but they also manage a trademarked cigar catering service for weddings and special occasions. For this review, I sampled a few of their Soho cigars, which measure 5 1/2 inches long with a ring gauge of 50. As you may have guessed from their name, all CF Dominicana cigars are handmade using select long filler tobacco imported from the Dominican Republic. If you would like to try just a few, the cigars are available in packs of 4, with a price per pack of just under $25.

Flavor

The Soho is a very flavorful cigar of mild-to-medium strength. I detected just a hint of sweetness, but what sets this cigar apart from the others is its fresh taste. The cigar is made with premium grade tobacco, and has a very smooth and natural flavor.

Draw and Construction

The Soho has an excellent draw, an even burn, and is very well constructed. It looks and feels like a custom made premium cigar. To add to the look, CF Dominicana will also include a band with your initials on every cigar purchased, at no additional cost.

Value

Depending on the quantity purchased, these cigars cost between $5.10 and $6.25 apiece when purchased online, which is an excellent value for a custom made premium cigar. For the level of quality and personalized service, I can easily recommend purchasing a 4-pack for that special occasion, or just for the experience of smoking a custom made premium cigar. And if these cigars are in your price range, they can very well become your regular smokes.
